Sr. Pastor/Head of Staff

The Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Conway was called to Paoli Presbyterian Church in September 12, 2010. Jeff was chosen by the PPC Pastor Nominating Committee from 132 candidates. The PNC firmly agreed that God was calling Jeff to be our Sr. Pastor and on September 12, the PPC Congregation agreed.

Jeff was born in California and raised in Oregon. For nine years, Jeff was the Sr. Pastor at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Amarillo, Texas. Before Westminster Presbyterian Church, Jeff served as the Directory of Youth Ministry and Associate Pastor at Wallingford Presbyterian Church and later as Associate Pastor at the First Presbyterian Church in North Palm Beach(yes. Someone had to go help those people at that Church on the white sand shores of tropical water.) Jeff is a biblical preacher who typically gets down from the pulpit and speaks directly to his congregation. He opens the Scriptures in a way that is both scholarly and accessible.

Jeff is married to Patti and has two sons, Barrett and Addison.

Associate Pastor

The Reverend Dr. James A. Churchill was ordained by Donegal Presbytery in July 1972. His first church call was here at PPC from 1972 - 1977. He served churches in Knoxville, TN and in Pittsburgh, PA before returning to PPC in 1990. His primary responsibilities include oversight for Christian Nuture (Adults, Youth & Children), teaching, leadership development, small group development and hospital & homebound visitation. Jim's education background includes the Atkins Pickle Plant, Arkansas Tech University (baseball and football), and three advanced degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary, including a Doctor of Ministry degree in 1986. Jim is happily married to Elana.

Pastor Emeritus with wife Patricia

The Reverend Dr. Richard R. Streeter and his wife, Patricia, grew up on the South Side of Syracuse, New York, a working class neighborhood. They both attended public schools and then the same high school, Onondaga Valley Academy.

Patricia studied music (voice) privately and then at the University of the Ozarks and Arkansas Tech University when they moved to Arkansas for their first pastorate. After a career with the airlines, Patricia spent most of her time as a full time mother of five and a pastor's wife.

Richard attended Colgate University - B.A., Princeton Theological Seminary - Master of Divinity, Boston University School of Theology - STM (psychology & counseling) and Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary - Doctor of Divinity (now Palmer Seminary, part of Eastern University). Dr. Streeter is also a mason by trade, a gift acquired while working his way through so much schooling.

Patricia and Dick have held pastorates in Atkins and then Yellville, Arkansas, Andover, Massachusetts (assistant with youth), Rahway, New Jersey and Paoli, Pennsylvania where they retired in 2003 after almost 32 years of ministry with Paoli Presbyterian Church.

Patricia and Dick still reside in Paoli. All five children and spouses and eleven grandchildren, the whole bunch are the joy and light of their lives, live within 15-30 minutes (depending on the traffic). Joy and rejoicing by and for all.
