The Winter Wonders Program of Paoli Presbyterian Church is a local outreach mission program that, during the past two years, has served over 140 families from neighboring Tredyffrin/Easttown, Great Valley and Phoenixville School Districts, as well as families from Home of the Sparrow and Cornerstone Christian Academy in west Philadelphia.

A special Thank You to everyone who helped to make
WINTER WONDERS 2007 a great success!
a great success!
We could not have done it without you!

 What a Wonderful evening!
Our guests began arriving early and the excitement continued to build.  Volunteers arrived in droves and all the stations were well-manned.  Youth geared up to help in registration, gift pick-up and Kids Gift Shop.  Forrester Hall was a magical scene with delightful aromas and helping hands everywhere you turned.

In the end, all of you were instrumental in making this local outreach program so successful:
142 families blessed
360 children
1044 “gift wishes” delivered
700-800 dinners served
Hundreds of toys and adult gifts provided
3 hours of musical gifts by PPC musicians young and old
Over 250 volunteers
Lots of smiling faces!

At the risk of forgetting someone, I want to thank the following people for taking a leadership role in this program and helping to make my job so much easier:

~Karen, Jeff and Lauren Heft for taking charge of the Toy Stop
~Bob and Lori Monday and the myriad of kitchen volunteers for providing a delicious
    meal for so many
 ~
Brittany and Lori Monday for heading up the Kids Gift Shop
 ~
Sue Mueller for being Lead Shepherd
 ~
Don Thompson and his youth crew for managing registration
~Jon Kreamer and Jill Laufenberg for lining up the Musical Program

Thank you to all of you who purchased gifts, made donations, worked behind the scenes and at the program itself.  Without all of you, this program would not be the Wonder that it is.  I believe we can all say: we were a blessing and we were blessed!  Thank you, thank you, thank you.
