A series of programs for older adults in our congregation continues monthly. All events will include a light buffet lunch. Please let us know if you will be attending by calling the church office or email linda.hassett@comcast.net

Thursday, October 12th at 10:45 am: Catherine Twitmyer, owner of Next Nest Advisors & Tricia Winton, owner of Rightsize Move Managers specializing in downsizing, moving, decluttering and organizing for Senior living options.

Thursday, November 9th at 10:45 am: Fran Alloway - PPC member and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
Fran Alloway is a registered dietitian and nutritionist who teaches nutrition and cooking classes for Main Line School Night. She is a long time PPC member and can be found in the church garden and food cupboard where she works with Heather McConnell to organize the PPC food outreach activities each month. Her preretirement life included managing federal nutrition education grants and teaching for Penn State, teaching early microwave oven adopters, clinical work in long term care and counseling.
The MIND diet which is a blend of the Mediterranean and DASH eating patterns has been proven to support mental acuity. and positive mental health. The class will discuss what foods to include, how to make the diet work with local and seasonal foods and provide a few recipes. Come learn how to keep those brain cells functioning with good food choices.

Thursday, December 14th at 10:45 am: Carol Cei accompanying a performance by the Hershey's Mill Singers- a program to get us in the spirit of the Christmas season. Perhaps even with a Christmas carol sing-along!
