The Director of Traditional Music Ministries (TMM) at Paoli Presbyterian Church is a part-time position reporting to the assigned Pastor.

• The Director enhances the traditional worship of the congregation by inviting and equipping those with vocal and instrumental gifts to share those gifts primarily in the sanctuary choir or instrumental ensembles (including bell choir). This occurs in the weekly Sunday traditional worship service and other selected special events.

• Responsibilities include directing the sanctuary choir and instrumental ensembles, supervising the accompanist (when one is utilized), and collaborating with pastoral staff in traditional worship planning.

• The Director functions as part of the church staff to ensure coordination with the overall direction and message of the Church.

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited school is required, with a preference for experience and/or demonstrated skills in choral/instrumental rehearsing, conducting and arranging. Ability to play the organ is highly desired.

• This salaried position requires approximately 12 hours per week.
