HUNGER RELIEF & NUTRITION ASSISTANCE
The Paoli Presbyterian Church Food Closet helps families and seniors in our area with monthly food baskets. The program is a member of the Chester County Food Bank.
Volunteers are needed on distributions days, for sorting and shelving, and to help with food drives and holiday packages at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.
In addition, Paoli provides fresh produce in season via its Community Garden Project.
Volunteers are needed for watering, weeding, picking produce and delivering produce to food cupboards.

FURNITURE MINISTRY
At no cost, the church's Furniture Ministry provides good-quality beds, kitchen tables and chairs, dressers and other home necessities for people struggling to buy these items. The ministry operates by appointment.
Furniture donations, especially clean beds, are needed. Volunteers pick up furniture in the community on Wednesday evenings and distribute it at the church on Saturday mornings.

THE WONDER OF CHRISTMAS
For one night each Christmas season, Paoli Presbyterian Church turns itself into a wonderland. Community members and church families are invited to take part in Christ-centered entertainment, share a meal, and join in a service project. Children get to pick out gifts for parents and have them wrapped. Families who request help in providing Christmas gifts for their children may enroll in advance through local school districts.

CITYTEAM
Paoli Presbyterian Church is in partnership with Cityteam in Chester to live out the Gospel of Christ in Chester, PA, one of Americans poorest urban communities. Cityteam provides family assistance, temporary shelter, and drug-and-alcohol programs.
Volunteers occasionally serve meals at Cityteam's Hope Cafe. Members help with the mother-and-baby program by providing supplemental baby supplies and volunteering at the site. The church also has provided backpacks with school supplies and helped distribute Christmas gifts in the community.
